About Dennis Trittin
Dennis Trittin is a successful author, publisher, educator, speaker, and money manager committed to helping young people reach their full potential. As founder and CEO of LifeSmart Publishing and the author of What I Wish I Knew at 18: Life Lessons for the Road Ahead and co-author of Parenting for the Launch: Raising Teens to Succeed in the Real World, Dennis combines his world class leadership experience with passionate advocacy for the next generation. With acclaimed resources and speaking engagements on the topics of leadership, life skills, and parenting, Dennis inspires and equips young people and the adults and institutions guiding them.
Prior to his current endeavors, Dennis was a successful investment manager and senior executive for 28 years with Russell Investments. During his career, Dennis researched and evaluated thousands of investment leaders worldwide, giving him a unique perspective to share the strategies and practices of successful people. At Russell, he served as Director of Research and Director of Investment Strategy and helped grow the firm’s assets from $1 billion to $220 billion through portfolio management and sales support. Dennis was given awards for excellence, innovation, and fund of the year while at Russell.
In addition, Dennis actively supports the community at large. He has served as a board chair and life skills and personal finance instructor at an area private school and as a deacon at his church. He also is a regular advisor to a number of non-profit organizations.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Washington, where he was Valedictorian of his class. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) designation.
On the home front, Dennis and his wife Jeanne of 33 years have two grown children and make their home in Gig Harbor, Washington. In addition to family management and volunteer causes, Dennis spends time on the golf course, enjoying the company of friends, following the financial markets, writing, traveling, and visiting the family’s condo in Door County, Wisconsin.
